During Comdex-Scandinavia in Göteborg BluePosition will show its new innovative Bluetooth Location Information System at the TDC Tele Danmark InterNordia stand B02:22.

The Bluetooth Location Information System, which is installed in the Danish Parliament, detects the whereabouts of the members of Parliament. Based on this data it integrates with the central PBX voice system, large information screens, Presence system, etc. The Call Diversion solution diverts incoming calls to either stationary phones, Voice mail, personal assistant, or mobile phones all depending of the M.P.’s whereabouts, being at their desk, in the chamber, or external from the building or campus.

BluePosition is a “spin-off" from Ericsson’s Bluetooth Competence Centre in Denmark. BluePosition is specialised in “In-door Location Based Service Applications" for the Enterprise and Telecommunications carrier market. More information is available at www.BluePosition.com.

During the exhibition we will show some of the many possibilities of “In-door Location Based Services", including “Location Based Call Divert" and “Location Based PC Workstation Security".

The BLIS4Platform is a second generation location detection platform that among others utilise Bluetooth technology. BluePosition offers a number of applications that utilises the Platform, and the Platform can also provide data for external application trough a XML interface.

The BLIS4PBX/VoIP automatically diverts incoming telephone calls to a stationary phone, DECT phone, Voice mail, personal assistant, or mobile phone. Depending on the user’s/subscriber’s whereabouts, being at their desk, in a meeting room, at lunch, or external from the building or campus.

The BLIS4WS-Lock application automatically locks user workstations when the users leave their desks for short breaks, meetings etc., thereby ensuring that nobody can misuse the otherwise unsecured workstation and its networked resources.
