Telefónica Deutschland and innovaphone agree on technology partnership

VoIP-specialist innovaphone AG and Telefónica Deutschland GmbH, Germany´s largest independent IP carrier and a subsidiary of the international Telefónica Group, have agreed on a future cooperation on the German telecommunications market.

With the German hard- and software producer and VoIP pioneer innovaphone, Telefónica Deutschland has once again found a partner with whom to serve the entire range of costumer needs in IP telephony. From the connection of small locations with a company´s headquarters to entire corporate networks for international corporations, innovaphone realizes multiple VoIP scenarios, at virtually any scale. "With innovaphone, we are gaining a partner whose
development and production facilities are located in Germany, enabling them to implement technological adaptations flexibly and without complication," stresses Marco Kersch, head of channel marketing for Telefónica Deutschland GmbH.

For innovaphone, the partnership with Telefónica promises to be another strong cooperation on the carrier market. "Merging our telecommunications expertise should result in a considerable synergy effect: One of the most important voice carriers and leading supplier of IP services for businesses will be cooperating with the leader in Voice-over IP technology," says Guido Lankes, account manager at innovaphone.
