CERF- Certification Standard for European Reference Framework Key Competences

On Thursday 3rd November 2011 took place in DIMITRA ITD facilities (Palaiologou 19 – Larissa) the kick off meeting of the representatives of the organizations which participating in European project CERF, that is coordinated by DIMITRA ITD and participate organizations from UK, Spain, Sweden, Cyprus and Greece. It was worth mentioning that the Chamber of Larissa also participated in this consortium as associated partner.

In the framework of this meeting it was defined the crucial stages of the project, tasks and activities of partners and it formed the character and the quality of the project and its results.

CERF: Certification Standard for European Reference Framework Key Competences is a two years duration European project that has been designed and it is coordinated by DIMITRA ITD. The main objective is the development of the educational methodology for the key competences according to European Reference Framework (ERF) that will be completed with an accreditation procedure for the acquired knowledge and skills by the training courses. The innovation character of CERF project focusing both on training of European citizens on key competences according to ERF and to active participation of the representatives of the European Labor Market in their utilization, intending to create a common “language" between citizens-employees and business world in the framework of European knowledge society.
