Equant to deploy Juniper Networks Session Border controllers for worldwide VoIP service

Leader in Communications Solutions for Multi-national Businesses to Add Security and VPN VoIP Features from Juniper Networks

SUNNYVALE, Calif., May 24th , 2005 "” Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR) today announced that Equant, a member of the France Telecom Group, is deploying its VF Series Session Border Control products to deliver VoIP services to business customers worldwide. Equant has the world´s largest data network in terms of geographic coverage, and unmatched local support with expanded services capabilities to provide global, integrated and customized communication services to enable its customers' key business processes. Equant offers a broad range of voice solutions to multinationals in a variety of industries.
Equant selected the Juniper Networks VF-3000 Series to offer secure Session Border Control features across the Equant Global VoIP network providing inter-VPN NAT (Network Address Translation) service. This enables Equant to support multiple vendors' IP PBXs for multi-national customers. In addition, multiple security features will be deployed providing the highest level of network protection for Equant and its business customers.
