Puma launches black and green Powercat 1 FG

Latest Edition of PUMA's Most Powerful Football Boot Launches on Pitch Tomorrow

Herzogenaurach, Germany (20 November 2012) - PUMA® has introduced the new black and green colourway of the PowerCat 1 FG, the current performance football boot from PUMA's Power silo. Featuring the most advanced PUMA technologies, the new black and green PowerCat 1 FG will be worn by PUMA's football stars including Marco Reus, Nemanja Vidic, Phil Jones, Gianluigi Buffon and Bacary Sagna.

Designed for players who desire power and accuracy, the PUMA PowerCat 1 FG is a highly optimised blend of materials and technology for increased kicking power and precision. In addition, the applied PUMA 3D PST DUO Technology helps improve ball grip and kicking accuracy while the soft, premium K-Leather enhances fit, comfort, and touch.

The bladed stud configuration of the PowerCat 1 FG delivers on traction, maneuverability, and pressure distribution, while the external heel counter protects and stabilises the heel. For the PowerCat 1 FG lightweight microfiber material in the lateral quarter has been used, which supports the midfoot and helps to keep the weight of the boot to a minimum.
