Puma launches the all new king boot

Herzogenaurach, Germany (4 December 2012) - PUMA® introduces the all new PUMA King, the latest and most revolutionary adaptation of the world renowned football boot. Launched in a striking yellow and black colourway, this highly innovative boot is designed for Kings of the pitch such as Yaya Touré, who dominate the field with their supreme leadership, sublime skills and dazzling ball control.

Aspiring players all over the world will be showcasing their silky skills just like the pros with the all new PUMA King football boot. This boot on the feet of a footballer can easily deceive the eye; blink twice and the enhanced touch and feel of the PUMA King creates the illusion that the ball is glued to their feet!

The PUMA King features TouchCELL™ properties that maximise the performance of the player, by enhancing the touch and feel between the boot and the ball, giving playmakers even more control to show off their skills on the pitch. The boot's upper, made from a super-soft premium leather, adapts to the natural curves of the foot for a glove-like fit. The lightweight Pebax outsole with a mix of conical and traction studs ensures the perfect balance between flexibility, grip and manoeuvrability, with the external heel counter giving improved heel fit and stability.

Speaking about the new PUMA King, Yaya Touré said: "I've been working closely with PUMA to help develop the new King boot and I'm really pleased with the result. The PUMA King will be worn on pitch from the 4th December and is available in-store from the 1st January 2013. A full collection of PUMA King training wear and equipment will be available alongside the boot.
