Art deco signage for Turner & Townsend

Brand On, the international brand roll out team at Danish signage specialist Modulex, has developed a new signage solution based on leading print on panel technology.

Brand On recently completed a project for the new London headquarters of international project managers and consultants, Turner & Townsend. Modulex has collaborated with Turner & Townsend on many projects over the past 15 years, so the Brand On team was delighted to be invited to work with them on their own offices.

Located in Savoy Court in central London, next to the famous Savoy hotel and designed in the same Art Deco style, the new offices demanded a sign system which related to this unique, high-quality environment.

In collaboration with architects BDG Workfutures, Brand On developed a textured pattern, derived from the art deco wall coverings, which was applied to the background of the signs using the latest "print on panel" technology. This solution provided both effective wayfinding and the means to relate to the interior design.

Turner and Townsend director, Rob Edwards, said, "I am delighted with the result. Brand On worked with our project management team and our architects to develop a solution and implement it on time in what was a tight programme".
