innovaphone can now offer a desktop IP Video solution

IP Video Conferencing enables organisations to reduce their travel costs
IP Telephony vendor innovaphone can now offer a desktop IP Video solution thanks to the development work between themselves and Leadtek Research.

Dealers who already sell innovaphone can now add the Leadtek BVP8770 IP Videophone to the innovaphone portfolio of compatible IP products. Dealers are able to offer their customers a cost-effective, high quality video solution with the minimum of investment. Due to the current economic climate, travel budgets are being dramatically reduced and this is one reason why organisations are turning to Video Communications to increase their bottom line.


The Leadtek BVP8770 IP Videophone can be adapted to all IP-based networks such as LANs, WANs, and the Internet. By accessing broadband connectivity networks, it performs excellent real-time video quality up to 30 frames per second. The BVP8770 can also be used to support a range of applications, such as videoconferencing, distance learning, visual consultancy, personal identification and video surveillance. With the BVP8770, small to large organisations will benefit from the increase in productivity, efficiency and cost reductions. The innovaphone/Leadtek relationship has provided compatibility between the IP Videophone and the standard IP Phones, enabling voice to voice, voice to video and video to video calls to be made over the LAN/WAN/Internet.
