Zinio Launches global retail network for digital magazines

Nine Online Newsstands Offered in Native Language and Currency

Trondheim, Norway September 14. – Zinio Systems, Inc., the recognized leader in digital publishing and marketing services, is launching this week the first global distribution channel for published digital media. The Zinio Global Network http://global.zinio.com -- online newsstands enabling delivery of both foreign and domestic titles in the language and currency of member countries -- will initially include the U.S., UK, Poland, Spain, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan, and Thailand, with many more countries to follow. About 400 magazines will be offered across the network.

The exclusive provider of Zinio digital magazines in Scandinavia is Zinio Systems Norden AS,a subsidiary of Eurobate ASA. The 3 Nordic local newsstands currently offer 12 magazines in locale languages with 40 new titles under production for release shortly. New titles are added frequently. To celebrate the launch, for a limited time visitors to the Zinio Global Network http://global.zinio.com can receive their choice of a free magazine issue.

Zinio digital magazines are exact replicas of the print versions, with all the convenience of digital: immediately available, interactive with features such as searching, annotating highlighting, and links to web sites. Once downloaded to a computer, digital magazines can be read online or offline. They are archived in a paperless library for easy access. Editorial and advertising offer multimedia bonuses, with sight, sound and motion.
