Sponsorship of danish mountain climber will put Stibo Systems' flag on top of Mount Everest
Genuine raw manpower and faith in himself is what it takes for danish Ivan Braun to climb Mount Everest without bottled oxygen or any use of help above base camp. If he successes he becomes the first Dane at the top without the use of bottled oxygen. The professional climber has just signed a major sponsorship deal with Stibo Systems, and this adventure will put the IT company's flag on top of Mou
Few days ago the professional climber Ivan Braun and the danish fast growing IT company, Stibo Systems, signed a big sponsorship deal that will not only put the company on top of the international IT map, but also on top of the world's highest mountain. A symbolism that fits well into Stibo Systems impressive history.
"We believe in the uniqueness of the individual, and that you can achieve your goal, if you have the will and the strength in you. Stibo Systems has itself as a company worked its way to being a business with great influence in IT with international success and impressive economic growth. We could not have done that without the employees who have had faith in themselves and a willingness to want and achieve more than others," says Erasmus Holm, Director of Marketing EU & APAC.
Ivan Braun not only puts Stibo Systems' name at top of the world's highest mountain, but he is also going to motivate the company's employees on how to achieve their goals in life and how to be a good colleague, something that pleases the company:
"Good and inspiring work environment is high on our daily agenda and we are therefore delighted both to have unique exposure while in-house to benefit from Ivan Braun's experience when it comes to motivation and goals of the employees," says Erasmus Holm.
Ivan Braun sees many similarities between the two worlds. He has found that many companies do have that inner drive it takes to go that extra step or create additional results, but it often requires insight from an outsider view to find it.
"I am very happy with the deal I have made with Stibo Systems. Their impressive story in which they have worked their way up to today to be a leader in their field and puts Denmark on the IT world map is outstanding. It requires a special drive and determination, and I recognize those skills in myself and therefore I can contribute with my experience to the employees, "says Ivan Braun, who is currently in the process of preparing himself to reach the top of the world's highest mountain.
Right now Ivan Braun is off to Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro, a mountain he has climbed countless times. Then he head to Tibet in August, where he will test himself and his equipment on the two more than 8,000 meters high mountains, Shishapangma and Cho Oyu. At these mountains he has to train several times to aclimate before the big adventure to the top of Mount Everest kick off in April 2015.
