With his eclecticism, Troels has already shown in the past that he knows how to move easily between the most intimate melodies of acoustic ballads, and the most taut electric phrasing of blues-rock, sometimes with a jazzy flavour.
His guitar touch and sound is a hallmark that you will recognize immediately while listening to the first notes of the song.
His new single “Wash my Blues away” is a ballad with intense blue feelings, but with a rock vocal approach. With this song, Troels is showing his artistic maturity, which has undoubtedly improved over the years.
“The song is built like a classic love song, and the longing and yearning a person feels, when the person they love is missing and realize that the person is all you really need to work and be content”, says Troels.
In his soloist career, Troels has released three albums: “Troels Skovgaard” 2003, double album with instrumental compositions “No Matter How Far I Go” 2006, “The Album” 2013.
From these releases several tracks have been played regularly and on a weekly basis on Danish radio DR, P5 and P4 through the years.
The single is the forerunner for the upcoming EP in 2021.
