Casinoportalen.com partner 32red, issues positive trading update

Recently, the Gibraltar-based online gambling group 32Red issued an update on trading for the past year 2007, reporting that casino and poker business as a whole has performed well during 2007 and has experienced year-on-year growth in both turnover and the number of active players, principally led by a strong casino performance.

Online casino business revenues increased by 7.6 percent following a 26 percent increase in active players, with the firm´s p[oker offering enjoying more active players than in the previous period, but a reduced yield per player, in line with the industry as a whole.

CEO Ed Ware says that trading for the year ended 31 December 2007 is expected to be in line with management expectations, and that 32Red intends to expand its European profile in 2008 and will shortly launch a French language casino service as the first of a number of entries into targeted European territories.

Ware said that trading in the first few weeks of 2008 had shown strong growth over 2007 in all areas of casino and poker.
