Mondosoft introduces wildcard search for Moss 2007 at Microsoft conference in Berlin

The beta versions are released on February 26th, but those attending the Microsoft European SharePoint Conference in Berlin on February 12th-14th will be able to see a presentation of the Ontolica products by Lead Developer Lars Fastrup from Mondosoft.

The Wildcard search is a valuable addition to MOSS 2007. That has become evident by the huge interest already shown by customers and partners, and by members of the IT communities.
That is why Lars Fastrup, Lead Developer, has started a blog on the ins and outs of search related issues in MOSS 2007, and of course about the Ontolica features.
Since the blog was launched at the end of January, the traffic has been heavy: Almost 1,000 visitors have stopped by to learn, question and comment on the issues dealt with, and recognized authorities such as Mike Fitzmaurice and Patrick Tisseghem have welcomed the Ontolica products.

Ontolica Wildcard for MOSS 2007
The Ontolica Wildcard edition is free, but limited to 1 server and 250 users. It will basically give you the same features as standard MOSS search plus wildcard search - hence the name - plus a few extra surprises.

Ontolica Search provides consistent search across MOSS 2007 and WSS sites, and has an abundance of features - from image search to improved metadata search, from drill down to a highly configurable interface.
The Ontolica Search edition is not free, but does come with a free trial license for two users. There is no expiration date on the free trial.

Ontolica for SharePoint 2003
For those sticking with SharePoint 2003, Ontolica provides an enhancement to the standard search features of SharePoint, and includes BehaviorTracking and PortalSearch.
