Mondosoft Named to KMWorld’s 2007 List of 100 Companies that Matter
For the third year running, the Enterprise Search and Search Analytics Vendor Mondosoft is Recognized for Customer-driven Innovation.
Copenhagen, Denmark & Palo Alto, California—February 22nd, 2007. Mondosoft, a pioneer in Enterprise Search and Behavior Analytics, today announces that it has been recognized by KMWorld Magazine as an innovator in the publication’s seventh annual review of knowledge management technology companies. Mondosoft makes the list for the third consecutive year.
Mondosoft has dual headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark, and Palo Alto, California, with solutions targeted for portal and content applications, including Microsoft SharePoint and Commerce Servers. Technologies include search, behavior analysis, and taxonomy tools.
New customers and product updates
Mondosoft has had a strong second half in 2006. The customer base is growing, the OEM relationships with CMS vendors Sitecore and EPiServer are solid and productive, and several product updates have been released.
The updates include MondoSearch 5.3, as well as MondoSearch integrations for EPiServer and Sitecore.
The next big release is Ontolica Search for MOSS 2007. Ontolica Search gives clients a full return on their MOSS 2007 investment, by adding consistent and advanced search across MOSS 2007 and WSS sites. The release is kicked off on February 26th with a free Wildcard-download.
New CEO and new focus
“We´re extremely well positioned for our further expansion in the Information Access market, and for taking advantage of the increasing focus on the need for intelligent web and internet solutions," states Kent Sorensen.
On January 1st 2007 Kent Sorensen replaced Laust Soendergaard as CEO. Kent Sorensen came to Mondosoft with the acquisition of Navigo early in 2006. This shift reflects the shift in focus from search to information access, and increased emphasis on Microsoft Sharepoint. Soendergaard remains on the Board of Directors.
“With our three product suites - MondoSearch, Ontolica, and Taxonomy – we can provide solutions to all search related challenges, and do so from all platforms: Both intranet and internet, from Microsoft as well as all other players on the CMS market."
Valuable credit from KMWorld
KMWorld Magazine’s List of “100 Companies that Matter" is based on the opinions of its editorial staff and surveys of knowledge management practitioners, theorists, analysts, vendors and their customers. Compilation of the list is the result of a year-long collaborative process.
2007 is the 7th year of the list.
“If there is a single trait shared by the companies listed below, it is their determination to treat their entire constituency chain, from top to bottom, with respect and without hubris," comments Hugh McKellar, editor in chief of KMWorld.
“Clearly, attitude alone doesn´t warrant inclusion on the list, attitude must be accompanied by elegance in the design and implementation of their software. Each of the companies included has helped to create, redefine or enhance a market, and all of them demonstrate the capacity for customer-driven agile innovation."
