Business for the World - An International Business Conference in Denmark

Rungstedgaard, Denmark 10th-12th October 2007

The purpose of this Conference is to explore:

What is spiritual business? How spiritual leadership practices can complement and benefit today’s business practices

Why do we need a spiritual business? The great possibilities for businesses to support sustainable development locally and globally

How can we do this? How to build spiritual business practices and networks, which can support each other now and in the future

The forum is an opportunity for business executives, professional academics, political leaders, spiritual guides, and others with a strong interest in spiritual business and its future place in the world, to gather in an inspiring environment and share experiences, discuss perspectives and define urgent tasks for businesses and global sustainability.

The meeting format will consist of the powerful “Open Space Technology", which is a different and effective way for organizations and communities to deal with critical issues, voice to their passions and concerns. In Open Space all participants can learn from each other and everybody has a responsibility for the outcome of the meeting. The goal of an Open Space meeting is to create time and space for people to engage deeply and creatively around issues of concern to them. And it will result in transformative experiences for the individuals and the groups involved.

Key representatives from various international organizations are gathering to join in the debate.

We will gather in the beautiful surroundings of Rungstedgaard - 25 km north from Copenhagen, in an old manor house placed in a park with a nice view to the sea. The Conference Center is situated close to the birthplace of Karen Blixen – today Museum of Karen Blixen.
