Regulatory & Training Services Extend to CACD Members

As an associate member of the Canadian Association of Chemical Distributors (CACD) for over 10 years, ICC The Compliance Center Inc. continues to support the association and its members. In an effort to enhance the relationship and build upon CACD’s training program initiative, ICC The Compliance Center Inc. is now extending regulatory and training services to association members.

Since the introduction of WHMIS in 1988, ICC The Compliance Center Inc.’s product lines are designed for a wide variety of markets, including chemical distributors. “Today, Canada’s largest chemical distributors and CACD members maintain a long-term business relationship with our organization and rely on us as a valued resource," says senior business development manager Greg Monette.

Throughout ICC The Compliance Center Inc’s history, regulatory knowledge concerning the handling and transportation of dangerous goods remains a core competency, as evidenced by 120 years of combined regulatory experience. The organization’s industry involvement includes membership with Industrial Accident Prevention Association, The Council on Safe Transportation of Hazardous Articles, Society for Chemical Hazard Communication and serving as past president of Dangerous Goods Advisory Council.

Various training services are available to CACD members via public, on-site or online courses. Customized training sessions are also available based on your company’s preferred shipping method and/or product mix. Members of CACD can take advantage of any training program, including:

• Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Ground (TDG/49CFR) in English or French
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air (IATA) in English or French
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Ocean (IMDG) in English or French
• Workplace Regulations (WHMIS/OSHA) in English or French
• Customized training solutions in English or French
