Blue Helix Partners with R&M - Quality Networking Components from Switzerland to UK

UK’s leading distributor of networking and cabling products partners with Swiss vendor R&M (Reichle & De-Massari), bringing the full range of R&M’s outstanding quality products to the UK.

R&M opens new UK headquarters in the City of London

Reichle & De-Massari AG (R&M), the specialist developer and manufacturer of components and cabling solutions for enterprise networks, has signed a partnership agreement with Blue Helix, the leading distributor of networking components.

With the agreement R&M is looking to create a wider market reach in the UK, and simultaneously Blue Helix will benefit from the breadth and depth of the R&M product range, particularly in copper and fibre optic cabling systems. The significant training scheme offered by R&M means that Blue Helix staff will become members of R&M’s Qualified Partner Programme (QPP).

Sales Director Daniel Hall at Blue Helix commented: “R&M Freenet is a compelling system for copper infrastructure and it compliments our existing fibre offering very well. We think this offers great value for customers and end users, and with 25 years warranty the R&M products really do speak for themselves."

“R&M’s system will be attractive to the market here in UK because of its reliability, modularity and ease of installation and management," said Daniel Hall.

R&M’s products are currently on sale in over 140 countries around the globe, and in some European markets the company enjoys a market share of over 35%. Recently established in the UK, R&M have opened their first sales office in the City of London, where UK sales & marketing activities are carried out.

“R&M in the UK are offering enterprise cabling systems with high reliability and quality, mainly to the enterprise and financial markets," explained Justin Bewick, Managing Director of R&M UK.

“However, the product range of R&M comprises a total of over 8,000 products, and we are also a significant supplier of components to the telecoms industry and for educational campus and industrial LAN applications," said Justin Bewick.

R&M is introducing its QPP partner program to the UK, which aims to ensure that all partners train their staff to a high level of expertise in the R&M product range.
