Reichle & De-Massari Appoints Technical Manager for UK Market

Reichle & De-Massari AG (R&M), the specialist developer and manufacturer of components and cabling solutions for enterprise networks, has announced its appointment of Geoff Dear (42) as UK Technical Manager.

Geoff Dear has already started in his new role at R&M in which he will assume responsibility for technical design and product selection in network solutions implemented by R&M partners and system integrators in the UK.

Geoff Dear joins R&M with over 25 years of experience in the networking and cabling industry, started in 1981 when he joined BT as an apprentice. Since then Geoff has held several posts in technical network and systems design and in project management through a long career at Redstone Converged Solutions, formerly Comunica.

"R&M provides real high quality solutions which are durable and cost-effective. My experience working with installers make me convinced that R&M products are a very attractive proposition both for installers and for the end client," said Geoff Dear.

"In particular I am looking forward to help more businesses move their networks to 10Gig networking speeds, an area in which R&M has excelled for several years," Dear added.

In addition to his working experience, Geoff Dear has concluded and passed numerous networking-related training and education courses.
