Extensive range of piezoceramic materials

The standard range of piezoceramic materials available from Noliac Ceramics is comprehensive and extensive. Hence, we are capable of manufacturing piezoelectric components according to your preferences and specifications. Further, our production capabilities allow us to customize the design of your component in numerous ways.

High power "hard" materials
PCM41 and PCM40 are low loss materials for high power applications. The low dielectric and mechanical losses (tgd, Qm) combined with high piezoelectric charge constant (d33) make them suitable for high power ultrasonic applications.

Furthermore PCM41 and PCM40 can be exposed to high repetitive quasi-static and dynamic loads for ignition applications. PCM41 and PCM40 differ from each other in permittivity and mechanical quality factor values. This variability enables to fulfill all specific requirements of our customers.

PCM80 is intended for power transducers with highest electric drive. Its low dielectric and mechanical losses at extremely high electric drive and high coupling factors makes it suitable for high-performance ultrasonic applications.

High sensitivity "soft" materials
These materials are characterized by high relative permittivity, large electromechanical coupling factors, large piezoelectric constants, low mechanical quality factors and significant nonlinearity. They are particularly suitable for sensing applications, receivers and low power transducers.

PCM51 is a standard soft material, particularly suitable for low power non-resonant and some low power resonant applications in which high coupling factor and /or high charge sensitivity are requested.

PCM53 has slightly lower electro-mechanical coupling factor, but has the advantage of higher temperature stability and it is suitable especially for shear mode vibration sensors.

PCM55 is a very high sensitivity material featuring extremely high permittivity, large coupling factor and piezoelectric constant. It has a relatively low Currie temperature. This material is suitable for a wide range of high sensitivity applications with limited temperature range of operation.

We are able to fulfil most of customer special requirements regarding
