Momail simplifies Facebook on the go

Momail mobile email makes keeping in touch with your friends easier – especially with connections services such as Flickr and Jajah. Today Momail expands its functionality by launching a simple way for uploading pictures and status updates to Facebook from your mobile. The service works for all mobiles and without the need of special downloads or Internet connections.

Stockholm, Sweden – March 11, 2009. Momail (www.momail.com) announces support for Facebook via its popular mobile email service. Managing your Facebook profile can now be done without connecting to Internet, without special programs or mobile downloads, nor is there a need to log into your profile. Uploading pictures and updating your status is simplified via simple emails.

How it works
Imagine you are at a concert and want to send a “live photo" to your Facebook profile.
• Take a picture with the mobile
• Choose "send with email"
• In the “to" field write Facebook
• In the subject field write name of your photo album (if you want the picture in an existing album or in a new album).
• In the text body field write your picture caption or leave empty.
• Send the email and your Facebook will immediately be updated.

Following the same steps, you can update your status, as well as received updates on your friends’ status - all via simple emails and without the need to connect to Internet or to login.

“Now Momail users can update their Facebook profiles where ever they are and without the need to be online or to login. This functionality is yet another example of how Momail’s communication platform and optimization technology is adding value when using the mobile for work and pleasure", says Kenneth Lundin, CEO of Momail.

With Momails ID-Relay technique, users just need to activate the Facebook connection one time via his or her Momail account. Thereafter, the account is authenticated automatically using the registered phone number (MSISDN) every time the user sends an email to his or her Facebook.

Momail is the market leader in device support and works on more than 90 percent of all mobile models sold today.
