Blue Helix sales recognised by 3M with Distributor Excellence Award

Blue Helix, a leading supplier of networking products, beat all records for their sale of 3M products in the UK and Ireland in 2008 - and the diversified technology company has formally recognised Blue Helix´s achievement.

Colin Ryall, managing director of Blue Helix went to 3M’s head office in Bracknell, Berkshire, to receive a commemorative award from Robert Nichols, Communications Business Director for 3M.

Colin Ryall says: “3M is a company that many people are aware of for familiar products such as Post-it Notes and Scotch Tape. In the communications market, however, they are the sixth largest supplier of networking solutions in Europe. 3M’s products include the company’s portfolio of Volition cabling systems, which offers customers an end-to-end solution with a 25-year warranty.

3M is an award-winning supplier to BT and has a proven track record of delivering innovative network solutions for prestigious projects including China’s National Stadium, home to the Bejing Olympics.

Presenting the award, Robert Nichols said that Blue Helix and 3M’s joint success was due to the combination of the superior quality of 3M’s fibre and copper product portfolio supported by the market leading service offered by Blue Helix.
