Rezidor opens the Radisson Blu Hotel, Gdansk in Poland

The Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the fastest growing hotel companies worldwide, has opened the Radisson Blu Hotel, Gdansk. The brand-new 134 rooms-property is Rezidor’s sixth hotel in the growing Polish market.

With a superb location in the heart of the historical part of the Main Town, the Royal Track, the Radisson Blu Hotel, Gdansk, promises to be one the most sought-after hotels in the city. Situated near the Artus Court, a symbol of the city’s powerful reign during the 16th century, the hotel acts as an important meeting place for both local and international conventions and events. It is close to beautiful narrow streets offering plenty of galleries, shops and street theatrical events, all adding to the charm of the atmosphere. The hotel features 134 well-designed guest rooms, including 8 suites and one luxurious Presidential Suite. Gdansk Shipyard was the birthplace of the Solidarity trade union movement, which, under the leadership of Gdansk political activist Lech Walesa (later President), played a major role in bringing an end to communist rule across Central Europe.
