Kaplan Financial Launches Online CIMA Courses

Two teachers for the price of one make sessions totally interactive

Kaplan Financial has launched CIMA Live Online, a series of internet-based classes to prepare for the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants qualification. Starting 10 August, the Kaplan Financial online programme is designed for those who can’t easily get to a classroom at one of Kaplan Financial’s 27 UK centres because of time constraints, family commitments or distance.

Anyone with access to the internet can participate in scheduled online classes where tutors and students are connected through both live audio and chat rooms to encourage active discussion and interactive learning in real time.

Kaplan Financial’s CIMA Live Online is the first online accountancy programme employing two tutors for one class – one to deliver the lecture and one to respond to the students in real time with questions and answers via instant messaging, or IM.

The interactive lessons feature instant chat, whiteboard, screen sharing, video and audio. The online courses provide the same exam-focused material and support that students would receive at a Kaplan centre including lessons delivered by the same award-winning, expert tutors.
