Consumers most afraid to lose their family photos and photos from holiday trips
DiaDirekt.com scans negatives, APS and slides to save them for UK customers. A recent survey shows that the images that are most valued are photos of the family and photos taken on holiday trips.
"The survey shows the importance of handling your images in a secure way. We are the first photo laboratory to have an independent certification according to the European standard EuroPriSe." says Malin Abrahamsson, Managing Director.
With more than 1000 respondents in the survey, 86 percent keep their digital photos stored on their home computer, but only one third of them save them to DVD or CD. More than half of the respondents are worried about losing their digital images.
"We scan images at such a low price that there is no longer any point in doing it yourself. Our deliveries are made in double copies on separate DVDs making it easy to keep a backup or to share with others.", says Malin Abrahamsson, Managing Director for DiaDirekt.
The survey was conducted in 2009 by Sifo Research International for Iomega Corporation and entailed more than 1000 web interviews.
Malin Abrahamsson, Managing Director, concludes: "When you want to bring your old images back to life, trust is important. That is why DiaDirekt respects your privacy."
DiaDirekt works according to a documented Quality Policy and Environmental Policy to meet the market requirements for low price, high quality and small environmental impact.
