IT firm to hold seminar to help employers control web use

Misuse of the internet in the workplace is now a huge problem for many businesses in the UK, not only costing them time but a large cut of their profits too.

Statistics have shown that companies with over 100 members of staff using computers lose around £4,000 a week, as a result of up to 20 minutes a day wasted browsing on the web. Undetected use of social networking sites and personal email accounts are also costing 30% of companies the equivalent of a full days work.
