Erik Aeyelts Averink joins ADAM Software as independent board member

Latest board member brings global IT and software expertise for future growth

In a move that will help take the company into new global marketplaces and territories; ADAM Software has appointed private investor Erik Aeyelts Averink as an independent board member. He will contribute to the company’s future success by providing valuable input and advice with regard to business development and global expansion strategy in order to extend ADAM Software in other regions, especially the US.

Aeyelts Averink’s expertise in the international software marketplace along with his experience as a strategist will help ADAM Software continue the rate of high growth that it has enjoyed in recent years. Between 2004 and 2009, Aeyelts Averink was President of leading web content management software vendor SDL Tridion, where he proved his business acumen by steering the business onto a path of success. Prior to this, Aeyelts Averink was a general partner at investment firm Gilde Investment Management.

As President at SDL Tridion, Erik Aeyelts Averink was responsible for the corporate strategy, analyst relations, product management and business development functions. Aeyelts Averink says: " I am looking forward to bringing my insight into business building into ADAM Software. The fact that I also have extensive experience in investing and supporting IT companies across Europe, Israel and the US while at Gilde, means that I also have a history in working across an international network of businesses. My experience in working with different regions will help me contribute to position ADAM Software as a global leader in the burgeoning digital asset management software market."
