Flexenclosure Receives 50 Million SEK order for Telecom Switching Stations

LIDKÖPING, SWEDEN –– Swedish-based Flexenclosure, which develops and manufactures turn-key site solutions for the telecom industry, has received an order from Sudan for 50 million SEK (€5M). The order is for its turn-key Telecom Switching Station, a fully equipped pre-fabricated building. The solution is a complete telecom and data room facility with electrical installations, HVAC (cooling), management and alarm systems which is installation-ready upon delivery.

Christian Jonsson, Vice President of Sales at Flexenclosure, says:
“We will provide 25 modules which will be connected into four buildings, totalling an area of around 1000m². Each building is customised for a specific functionality e.g. an energy center. The stations will be fully assembled in Sweden, and our technicians will simply connect the modules on site in Sudan and the operator will be up and running in no time. Minimizing operators’ time-to-revenue, whilst meeting the stringent operational requirements of the telecom switching equipment, is one of the key benefits of our module-based switching stations."
