Acrylic sheets: ThyssenKrupp Materials (UK) launches the Oroglas® brand in the United Kingdom.

ThyssenKrupp Materials (UK) today announces the launch in the United Kingdom of Oroglas® cast acrylic sheets and blocks produced by the Arkema group.

Pan-European launch via 12 preferential distribution partners.
ThyssenKrupp Materials (UK) is the preferential distribution partner for Oroglas® in the United Kingdom. The brand is being launched simultaneously by 12 preferential distributors* in Austria, Denmark, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Poland and the UK.

What are PMMA acrylic sheets?
Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) is the chemical name for acrylic glass. PMMA in cast sheet form has numerous industrial applications. It is also used in the manufacture of everyday products such as visual communication tools (the new generation of LED signs, merchandisers, poster holders etc.) and home furnishings and decor.

Acrylic sheets are available in thicknesses of between 2mm and 25mm. The blocks range in thickness from over 30mm up to 110mm.
