Flexenclosure partners up with Neptuno to bring E-site to Central and South America and the Caribbean market

Flexenclosure, which develops, manufactures and delivers turnkey site solutions for the telecom industry, have begun collaborating with Neptuno to help meet demand for its E-site product in the Central and South American markets and the Caribbean.

E-site is a base station site solution that uses a specially designed wind generator as its primary source together with solar panels. This reduces both CO2 emissions and energy-related costs by up to 90% compared to a traditional diesel-powered base station.

Neptuno is a leading tower supplier that serves operators in over 15 countries in the region and works with some of the largest telecommunications infrastructure vendors, as well as with some of the largest providers of telecommunications services in the region. Under the agreement, Neptuno will produce the towers for E-site, as well as provide installation, commissioning and maintenance support and local support. The intention is also for both parties to sell each other’s products and do joint marketing and sales activities in the region.

‘We are extremely excited about this opportunity as we see a need from a lot of our customers to reduce their operational costs and to serve rural areas where there is no electricity whatsoever. With E-site, carriers will be able to provide wireless service in very remote areas, which will enable them to potentially achieve a 90% reduction on diesel consumption.’
