Altuglas International launches new acrylic resins for Medical Devices applications with Exceptional Chemical Resistance.
Altuglas International, a world leader in acrylic plastics, has expanded its family of Medical grade acrylic resins, with Altuglas® CR30 and Altuglas® CR50 impact-modified grades. These resins, feature exceptional alcohols and lipids resistance that reduces environmental stress cracking due to attack of aggressive drugs and disinfectants. These novel acrylic resins are designed for easy injection molding of complex multi-cavity parts.
Altuglas® Medical Resins meet USP Class VI and ISO 10993 Parts 4 & 5 requirements, are Bisphenol A (BPA) free, and offer excellent optical transparency combined with outstanding bonding characteristics, scratch resistance, and sterilization recovery.
These and other characteristics make Altuglas® Medical Resins a good choice for transparent medical devices.
