ADAM Software announces ADAM DocMaker 3.0 with improved usability, InDesign Server load-balancing, and other innovative features.

ADAM Software today released ADAM DocMaker 3.0, the latest major release of its media intelligent studio tool for editing, managing and localizing media rich documents, brochures, flyers, catalogs, and more. Building on the strengths of previous versions of the tool, ADAM DocMaker 3.0 makes producing consistent, cost-effective branding materials for any number of divisions, subsidiaries and language regions easier and faster than ever before.

For end users, ADAM DocMaker 3.0 features a completely redesigned user interface that is highly intuitive and easy-to-use, allowing for rapid production, editing and management of the full range of documents that can be produced with Adobe® InDesign®. Once files are stored in the ADAM platform, save time by registering changes without having to return to Adobe® InDesign® Server for rendering at each step of the process. Instead, ADAM DocMaker 3.0 provides the full range of tools to produce great-looking, consistent materials ready for InDesign Server. And with advanced user settings, you can provide optional or restricted template text, control image modification, and automatically change fonts for different language versions of your document.

Under the hood, ADAM DocMaker 3.0 has been radically reengineered to give an incredible performance boost. Multiple Adobe® InDesign® Servers are now supported for load-balancing with priority queuing, while dedicated servers can be designated for unattended jobs. InDesign Server on Mac is now also supported.

For developers, the ADAM DocMaker 3.0 API has been redesigned to make custom development simpler and more flexible. And, as ever, the ADAM community is there to provide expert support.
Other great features of ADAM DocMaker 3.0 include support for additional file types including complex formats like AI, PSD, EPS, INDD and PDF; support for anchored and embedded images; cached previews and document structure for faster rendering; and more.
