Altuglas® LED acrylic sheet new generation range gain in sustainable efficiency and colours.

Altuglas International, a subsidiary of Arkema group launches its new generation of Altuglas® acrylic sheet optimised for LEDs (Light Emitting Diode). The formulation of the acrylic glass is optimized for a uniform and maximised light distribution associated with LEDs. The result: coloured acrylic sheet with high light transmission which reduce energy consumption and the number of LEDs used by up to 20% compared to a standard acrylic sheet. 14 standard colours are available and could also be offered in Corporate Identity Colours. The applications of this new generation of acrylic sheet vary from sign, signage to architecture and design (interior and exterior).

An efficient energy solution and eco-friendly.
Altuglas International develops innovative materials and brings effective and eco-friendly solutions. The efficiency of these new LED acrylic sheet shows a decrease up to 20% of the energy consumption and the number of LEDs installed compared to conventional PMMA acrylic sheet.

A new generation of acrylic sheet: 2 ranges to explore.
• Altuglas® LED system: 10 “energizing" colours.
The new coloured sheet uniform illumination with no LED hot spots and maximum luminescence efficiency. The result is “energizing", bright and uniform. 10 standard colours are available. Altuglas® Led System could be also supplied in Corporate Identity Colours. For projects, a dedicated service to provide the desired colour is proposed by Altuglas International.

• Altuglas® Night & Day: 4 “magic" colours.
4 colours have a magic effect "2 in 1" between the day and night. For example, black during the day, the acrylic sheet turns white when illuminated at night. Altuglas ® Night & Day is now available in black/white, grey/white, green/white and blue/white.

A versatile material, resistant to UV and easy to thermoform.
This material resists to UV and atmospheric agents. The acrylic sheet is easily thermoformed and lends itself to forms of complex designs. This versatile material allows designers the ability to imagine the future interior and exterior concepts with light.

Find out more about PMMA sheet:
Known as “acrylic glass", this polymer (polymethylmethacrylate) has exceptional optical properties, superior to that of glass. These properties have lead it to become the material of choice across numerous industries, from the automotive industry to construction.
