Blue is the new black

We see it in bags, we see it in clothing and we see it in Obaku's newest watch collections. Blue is hot.

Some claim that sixty is the new forty and that orange used to be the new black. We don't really know
about this, what we do know is that we are seeing blues all over the place and that the new blue color versions of some of the bestselling Obaku models are going to be a hit! Inspired by the natural beauty of the deep blue ocean and the bright blue sky, Obaku is launching three new blue color versions, two ladies and one gents at this year's Baselworld. This comes as an addition to a range of blue and rose-gold watches that were launched just in September last year.

Blue is in fashion this year
According to the specialist in colours, the large company "Pantone", blue and rose are in fashion this year. Or as Pantone likes to name the colours "˜Serenity and Rose Quartz'. There is no doubt that the beautiful mix of a blue dial and rose-gold case and bracelet from Obaku's newest watch collection will hit a homerun in Pantone's predictions of the colours of the year. And wherever you look from hand-bags to the fashion runways, blue is in the mix.

The deep blue sea right on your wrist
In the new versions of two of Obaku's most popular ladies models a rose-gold case and mesh bracelet
is combined with the new deep blue mother of pearl dial. With these watches there is no excuse for not
checking the time throughout the day. The two new color versions still feature the elegant and classic
Obaku case where the features and lines of the watch create a balance and look unlike any other watches on the market. The Obaku V129 keeps its simple dial, long lugs and easy-to-read hands with a curved and well integrated back case, while the V173 has a full mother of pearl dial embellished with twelve Swarovski stones marking the hours, keeping the traditional Obaku features and contemporary design alive.

Why look at the sky when you can look at your watch?
Two of the most popular Obaku Gents series, are being expanded with ultra-cool and masculine stainless steel links. They are sure to become a must have item for all watch enthusiasts in 2016. With an added three-piece link strap and a Rose Gold and Black color combination the two new versions are about to take the Obaku Gent's collection to a new level. The new versions will be launched during this year's Baselworld.

In addition to these new versions, eight new ladies and gents Obaku models will be added to the Obaku collection this March at the Baselworld Watch and Jewellery Fair. A collection consisting of some of the most elegant, clean and contemporary designs in its price range, the new Obaku watches are sure to be a talking point this year. With these new designs, the Obaku ladies collection embraces a full range of tastes, from the sophisticated and fashionable timepiece to the everyday elegant watch.
