Spaldings manages ideas for product enhancements with Perfion PIM

Spaldings is one of the leading distributors of groundcare and agriculture products. With more than 10,000 products and various new products being developed and introduced every year, Spaldings needed an efficient Product Information Management solution to house all of their data. The perfect solution was found in the Perfion PIM system.

PERFION HANDLES NEW PRODUCT IDEAS TOGETHER WITH EXISTING PRODUCTS
Perfion PIM will manage all product information at Spaldings,, including the input and ideas that is delivered from customers, partners and the staff.

Input for improvements of an already existing item is stored in Perfion in direct relation with this item. In this way, Perfion provides a complete overview of all the input anytime and it is easy to continuously add more information during the development process.

Data and information about not yet existing products is stored and managed in the Perfion PIM system parallel to the data of already existing products. If Spaldings chooses to put a not yet existing product into production, the related Product Information Management process is extremely simple as all the information is already saved in Perfion.

EFFORTLESS CATALOG CREATION WITH PERFION PIM
Every year, Spaldings publishes a very large product catalog & pricelist with 10,000 items plus a number of flyers. Before the company's shift to Perfion, the publications were created with an older catalog management system, which only very few employees knew how to handle, and which did integrate well with the company's other IT solutions.

Perfion's built-in catalog management functionality makes it a breeze to create and organize Spalding's catalogs and other print material. When product information or images change in Perfion, the InDesign files can be updated automatically with all the changes. Perfion's ease of use allows all relevant employees to manage their own product information.

PERFECT DYNAMICWEB INTEGRATION
Parallel to the Perfion PIM project, Spaldings is implementing the Dynamicweb Platform with which Perfion is also tightly integrated.
