The multitalented and remarkable Danish painter Leif Sylvester´s first separate exhibition at Galleri Flintholm
Leif Sylvester he's become an recognized painter and sculpturer and celebrate his 75 years birth date and exhibits his extraordinary new artworks at Galleri Flintholm. Everyday situations, unimaginable situations and almost dreamlike mixtures of people and animals are food for thought. It is his first solo exhibition at Galleri Flintholm and contains more than 40 works of art. Don't miss it!
Leif Sylvester Petersen lives and works in Copenhagen (born the 18. April 1940 in Copenhagen).
He is a Danish painter, graphic artist, musician and actor. Leif Sylvester Petersen took his stage name Sylvester as real name.
Teamed up with Erik Clausen in the 60's performing political, cirkus-like street theater. Both became part of a theatrical and musical collective in the early 70's and in the late 70's as Clausen & Petersen, the two transformed their collaboration and characters to film and records.
In the recent years he's become an recognized painter and sculpturer.
Most recently, he exhibited at Sophienholm, Heerup Museum and Silkeborg Bad museum.
Among his decorations in public spaces is the bronze sculpture "That's it". Sylvester-Petersen's family grave at Assistants Cemetery in Copenhagen.

The Leif Sylvester Exhibition, which contains more than 40 works of art, both sculptures, litopgrafic works and paintings is opened by a vernissage on Saturday the 24st of October from14 to 17, where Leif Sylvester will be present.
Opening hours are from the 25nd of October to the 13nd of December 2015, which is the last day of exhibition. Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 16.
