Bandholm Hotel wins European Luxury Hotel And Restaurant Of The Year 2018 Award

The internationally acclaimed Luxury Travel Guide has just pronounced Bandholm Hotel the winner of their coveted LTG Awards 2018 in the category "European Luxury Hotel And Restaurant Of The Year 2018".

This is the second time that Bandholm Hotel scoops an LTG Award. In 2016, the Danish luxury seaside hotel won the award “Luxury Sea View Hotel of the Year” in Denmark. This time, Bandholm Hotel has won, not only the Danish award, but the very broad category “European Luxury Hotel and Restaurant of the Year 2018”.

This award is Bandholm Hotel's greatest international accolade to date. Earlier this year, Bandholm Hotel won the national first place in TripAdvisor's Travellers' Choice list of the best 25 hotels in Denmark. The hotel has experienced rapid growth and has won the Danish newspaper Børsen's Gazelle Award two years in a row. The award is given to businesses that double their revenue in four years.

The judging panel for the awards included TV personalities Shane Green (Resort Rescue) and Marianela Pereyra (Resident Beach Expert), Claire Newell (Travel Expert), luxury hospitality photographer Antonio Cuellar, as well as the in-house team at Luxury Travel Guide.”

The 4 star Bandholm Hotel is beautifully located at the north coast of the island Lolland in the south of Denmark. The classic seaside hotel from 1886 has 40 luxurious rooms, some of which overlook the sea. The hotel has a popular a la carte restaurant with a special gourmet menu at the weekends. It also sports a large wellness centre with a wide variety of beauty, spa and massage treatments.
