Giving companies a new face across the globe

Fast-growing Brand On is a business unit at Modulex, the world’s leading provider of wayfinding, visual branding and signage solutions.

“We’re seeing growth in the cross-national rebranding efforts of global corporations," says Modulex CEO Søren Bendt. “This has opened up a huge market for the complex brand roll-outs we’ve been managing for decades. Now, we’ve gathered all this experience in our Brand On unit."

Based in Northampton, England, Brand On sources, ships and installs everything from exterior, indoor and digital signs to banners and environmental graphics.

“There are really no limits to what you can do visually," Søren Bendt explains, also noting that Brand On is a single source for meeting the customer’s every need: “You get a single project group that takes care of everything from your HQ exterior signage and interior signs to graphic solutions for floors, walls and windows. This means greater surety of lean implementation, without errors, duplicated work or delays. We work 24/7 across time zones, country borders and cultures".

Brand On’s major international clients include Barclays, Nokia and the French energy giant Alstom. The latter company purchased the power distribution company Areva T&D in 2010 and created a new division called Alstom Grid.

“This acquisition required Alstom to rebrand 146 locations spread throughout 45 countries on six continents. Part of the project involved replacing Areva’s exterior signage with new Alstom Grid signage at all locations over a single weekend," says Søren Bendt.

Brand On completed the assignment through its unique global network of installers.

“The quality of their work is outstanding," says Elaine West, a senior manager for internet and branding at Alstom Corporate Communications. “Their project team acted quickly and was always there when we needed them. And their customer service was some of the best I’ve ever seen," she continues.

Brand On works with branding agencies and architects large and small. “They’re given the freedom to focus on the creative side of things, while we keep track of the big picture and manage the practicalities – including signage legislation and ordinances in countries from the USA to Kazakhstan," explains Søren Bendt.
