Modulex beats Singapore on quality and price
Danish signage specialist Modulex has just produced, supplied and installed 370 square metres of decorative foils on the walls of Grundfos’s brand new domicile in Singapore.
“We have used the entire palette of our competencies for this project. In particular within communicative graphics and project management across professional boundaries," says Key Account Manager Keld Møller from Modulex.
Grundfos is one of the world’s largest pump manufacturers. The company has more than 17,000 employees and is represented in more than 55 countries. In addition Grundfos products are sold in a large number of countries by local distributors.
The decorative films, which are produced by Modulex in Denmark, symbolise Grundfos’s values in a distinctive graphic design. In addition to the decorative foils, the project also includes indoor wayfinding and signage in the Messenger series.
Keld Møller says “We undertook the assignment in collaboration with Duba-B8, one of the leading Danish furniture companies, who wanted to be sure that the foils were made and installed by professionals with core expertise within the area. The choice therefore fell on Modulex."
In addition Modulex were actually price competitive to the local suppliers in Singapore.
Modulex’s fitters, who come from the subsidiary Louis Signs in Herning, Denmark, had five days to carry out the work.
“They faced an extra challenge as the foils behaved differently during installation in Singapore’s heat. However, we made the finishing touches to the assignment two days before the deadline," says Keld Møller in conclusion.
